I suddenly realized that last weeks post was a little self pitying, the problem with this blog is its a good way to release stress, and also when your not working, stressed, and STILL jet lagged (it feels like someone has pushed a load of cottonwool into my brain), you really over think things. So ignore all the wallowing crap from the last post. I'll probably edit it out anyway.
So this weekend I did the serveitright exam, this is an on-line test you need to carry out if you want to serve drinks in a bar or restaurant. It was actually kind of fun, and pretty easy, some of the questions were so simple they were funny, for example "if some is intoxicated there likely to:- a)Be less confident b)have improved coordination c) Have worse coordination. d)Consider there actions carefully. To be fair I did actually learn some stuff as well, did you know that eating doesn't absorb alcohol, it just slows the rate it enters your system from 20 mins to up to 6 hours. Also over here if the bar staff serve you while your really pissed then there just as liable as you are if you do something stupid like drive home. Which means your a LOT more likely to be turned away if your stupidly drunk. Also today I'll Finally sort out a mobile phone, with a phone number I can put on my CV, and so begin the great job and flat hunt. I'm really not looking forward to it, looking for a place to stay and job hunting are both going to be a lot of hard work, plus I've got to sort another Hostel out tonight. Not sure weather to stay were I currently am, or downgrade to a cheaper hostel.
Anyway, enough of the boring stuff, yesterday me and JP went and played a game of Frisbee down the park, and went for a 2.50 all day breakfast. I went for another swim in the outdoor pool. This time there were only two of us in there, and the sun was just starting to set over the mountains in the background. I hope I don't ever get bored of that view. I also saw a crow cleaning a muscle it had caught in a drinking fountain, and then drink from said fountain.... I'm not going to use the water fountains anymore. JP's Mum doesn't trust Crows, she doesn't like the way they Hop, can't say I trust them either now, there far to clever. I also went to the Hostel movie night and watched Ghost Busters II and got free pop corn. Good times!
