So its been an interesting week. Work is getting a bit tedious. The honey moon is over. Its just so physically demanding. I'm shattered after work most days, and a lot of it is very repetitive. Its still better than my last job, and today Adam said I would get to try prepping some new stuff tomorrow, but I'm working an hour longer, so I don't know if I'll have to prep all my current stuff before doing this new task. Still, I'm slowly learning pans, and hopefully I'll get to move on soon. Also I wanted to get the top of my ear pierced, but Adam told me I wasn't allowed, which kinda annoyed me, as one of the other guys there has his ear done. Anyway! Enough bitching!
Friday me and Rosie agreed that we were going to get piercings, Rosie was going to get her nose done, and I was going to get the top of my ear done... except work wouldn't let me. So I went to watch Rosie get her nose done. The whole experience was pretty bizarre. We went to this really nice clothes/tattoo/piercing place on Gransville. Rosie selected her nose stud, then we went into a the piercing room. For some reason I was expecting a fat bold guy with loads of tattoos and 4000 piercings to do it in a grotty back room. But the piercing lady piercings were all tasteful, and the room looked like a surgery room. It was a bit bizarre going from a trendy shop into that room. Rosie looked pretty intense just before the piercing happened, like she was about to go on a roller coaster. Still, it looked good once it was done, and didn't even go that red.
Saturday day was spent shopping and doing menial tasks, cleaning my room, etc. That evening I was meant to be going on a talk like a pirate pub crawl. Except Monique who was organising it had just got back from Whistler a bit worse for wear. So it turned into a few drinks on Gransville instead. Chloe got fairly drunk, which was pretty funny. Also I fell up to stairs and kind of did a clingsman across a sofa. Luckily only 3 people saw it. I couldn't get to drunk, as I had to go to a 'staff party' at 8AM ON A SUNDAY!
So Sunday, I got up at 7am, and went to this staff party. I got a free breakfast, with a baileys coffee, so it wasn't all bad. Also I got 'recognized' as a hard working new recruit, and got a $25 cinema voucher. Afterwards I had to work from 10 till 2, so I'm doing a 6 day week this week. But Friday I am going to Seattle for the weekend so its not all bad. That evening I was meant to be going to watch the Arctic Monkeys through the fence in Stanley Park with Rosie, except her ex boyfriend turned up on Saturday from the UK (a Very long story), and we haven't really heard from her since, I'm a bit worried we might not see to much of her these days. Luckily Monique and Chloe were up for joining me in this cheap skate adventure, so I still got to see them. They were pretty good, but I don't know to much of there new stuff. You could see a surprisingly well through the fence as well. Bonus.

"You better move out my way, or I'll run you over!"
A nice looking old lady in a mobility scooter as I walked in front of her at a crossing. She cut some one up when the lights changed as well.
That's the only quote I can think of this week.
This weeks random topic:- The place I'm currently staying. Its a great little place. I house share with a load of random people from all over the world. There is Kai from Japan, his German girl friend Cathrine, Mark from Kyrgyzstan (no really, look it up, it exists.) Brian from Ireland, and lots and lots of Japanese randoms. Its nice to always have people around who you can talk to, and there all trustworthy as well. You can forget some food, and leave it in the kitchen, and it will still be there the next morning, that would never happen in a hostel. The building is next door to the place were Jimmy Hendrix's nan worked, so there are a lot of posters up about him. Plus the landlord is a dab hand in PowerPoint, and makes lots of posters with information about not using to much Internet bandwidth (that poster has a picture of a heron on!?), or when he's spraying the rooms for bed bugs. Plus a few posters he's made himself. The upstairs loo has a picture of a puffin. No one knows why. Also lately our landlord has a blatant burgeoning romance with one of the people staying here, when ever I get back drunk at 3am, he's talking to her over a meal. He suddenly started dying his hair, luckily he is still wearing his collection of awesome Hawaiian shirts. Plus it has a free shelf, with a picture of a bear catching a fish on it, which makes it a lot better than the hostels, even if it only ever has bread on it.
